You can bring your own if you have them! However, if you don't, we provide professional reef/water shoes completely free of charge on site. They are strictly required because the underwater surface in Shark Bay is rocky and uneven.

No swimming or diving skills are required. This is a standing and walking activity in shallow, coastal waters (usually around knee-deep or waist-deep depending on the tide). If you prefer not to get wet at all, you can comfortably stay on the dry sandy beach and watch the shark fins gliding across the water from the shore.
