TIPS:

1. For à la carte restaurants where reservation is required, we recommend that you make the reservation at check-in so as not to miss it.

2. Gentlemen, be aware that pants are required at night for dinner, but Jeans are allowed. Please note that this applies to most hotel restaurants, so come prepared.

3. We recommend that you bring euros. Both the euro and the escudos (local currency) will be accepted as a means of payment. There is a cash machine in each hotel and in different parts of the city, which allows you to withdraw money (in escudos).

4. If you have a special diet, send an email in advance so the hotel can ensure that they can prepare in advance.

5. Pool towels are available, but we recommend that you take some preachers, as it may be windy.

6. Many all-inclusive hotels allow you to get drinks and food, even after you check out! The snack bars still prepare meals for you to take to your rooms.

7. There are safes in the rooms, you will need to configure them with your own code. The instructions are there.

8. Do not leave food in your room, store it in the fridge or close it tightly. Otherwise, it may attract ants. If cleaning is not daily, go out with the garbage bag or close it tightly when you leave. Insects (especially ants) chase down beverage residues and food crumbs.

9. Flies will always be around, especially if there is food! No matter how much the hotels spray, this is inevitable due to its very nature. Some stations and areas will be worse than others. Use a slice of lemon and pass it on the table, it will keep them away (right next to the pool, if you want!)

10. Avoid spending too much time in the sun, especially from 11 am to 3 pm, use sunscreen and keep your head covered! Even if it’s cloudy!

11. Avoid the thermal shock of having the air conditioner at a very low temperature and then go outside in hot weather.

12. Very sensitive people should use bottled water to brush their teeth.

13. You can use a loyalty card or an old CC card and leave it in the slot that supplies electricity to your room if you want the devices to be charged when you leave. But we recommend that you help us to save energy and protect the environment, since electricity is produced with fuel.

14. If you like to have tea in the morning and have a package of the preferred brand, you can bring it with you, some rooms have a kettle, if you don’t have it, just call and ask at reception to deliver it to your room.

15. If you are sitting on the porch, do not close the doors completely, as you may be locked.
