This 5-star all-inclusive resort for adults only is located in the city of Santa Maria, Sal island. It is less than 4 km from the center of Santa Maria, about 45 minutes walking and 16 km from Amílcar Cabral international airport. It shares the same location as Meliã LLana (ML). And it has exactly the same design.
With 302 rooms and suites, the room types are the same as ML, the difference is that ML rooms are brown / cream / orange while BCV rooms are blue and cream. The room types are: double room with balcony, double room by the sea with jacuzzi, double bath and junior suites. For those looking for superior personalized service, there is The Level service, which includes a private pool, private meals and extras in the rooms. There is also a Gold service for BCV, which is an upgrade of extras, including private breakfast at the nostra house.
There is a wifi hub in the room and you can stream it via the TV that has a USB port. Screen television has English channels. There is a shop and hairdresser on the ML side.
There are several places to eat and drink, including the Riviera Bar, by the pool, the Latitude restaurant, buffet style, the Casa Nostra restaurant for traditional Italian dishes, al fresco dining in the Mediterranean at the Culinarium and the Japanese Teppanyaki in the elegant Nami Bistro. There is something for everyone, including a spa, gym, two pools, three bars and shops on site.
Bathrooms contain toiletries, hairdryers, and towels. The cleaning of the rooms is done daily.

Nami – This restaurant specializes in Asian cuisine and serves dinner only. Guests can enjoy drinks at the bar. Reservations are required. Open daily. Paid separately.
Casa Nostra: restaurant overlooking the garden and pool, offering Italian cuisine and serving dinner only. Reservations are required. Open daily. Paid separately.
Culinarium – This open-air restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine and serves lunch, dinner and light fare.
TIP: One entrance to the a la carte restaurant Casa Nostra is allowed during your stay. Make sure to book on arrival so you don’t miss out. Nami is also worth a visit, but remember that it is not part of the all-inclusive system.
DRESS CODE
- In the evening, proper attire is required in the restaurants and men are asked to wear long trousers.
- Gentlemen may not wear sleeveless shirts, sports shirts or shorts, or open-toe shoes in the restaurants.

YHI Spa has 6 treatment rooms including rooms for couples. Services included: facials, body wraps, body treatments and manicures and pedicures.
